Getting frustrated with your LLM and demanding answers from it on wny it did something or why it disobeyed your direct orders?
Don't waste your time. There's no mind behind that prompt. It has no knowledge or memory of "thought processes" that took place in the last prompt creation. It WILL give you "an" answer, but it's a text generated answer that sounds plausible. It's 100% unrelated to what actually happened. It's 100% identity to asking it why some other LLM someone else is using did something.
Each question you ask is answered by a different "mind", for lack of better words. It only LOOKS like a continuous converastion with a single entity because of the clever way the UI was created; the ENTIER conversation (the part that still fits in the context window) is fed back into the LLM to give the new, factory reset "brain" the context of the conversation.
Save your expensive tokens on asking or arguing with your LLM. There's literally nothing behind the prompt to "learn a lesson" or feel hurt by your anger. It's just a brick, for all practical purposes.
Don't Ask Your LLM WHY It did or did NOT obey you
